Magellan Aerospace has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time permanent Janitor (Sweeper/Laundry) at our manufacturing hub in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Position Summary

The Janitor will be responsible for duties that include sweeping and cleaning an assigned area of the plant or office. They should have knowledge of cleaning compounds and can use power equipment such as scrubbers and polishers as required.  They also ensure proper documentation and handling of laundry out of and into the plant.

Essential Responsibilities

• Experience performing janitorial services required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
• Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of and experience using cleaning chemicals and agents
• Ability to use powered riding equipment (forklifts, sweepers et cetera)
