Position Summary

 

In this key role you will lead the analysis, design, implementation, and ongoing support of business-critical IT systems, ensuring they meet organizational needs and enable operational excellence. You will partner with business and technical stakeholders, mentor junior analysts, and drive initiatives to optimize and innovate our systems landscape.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis of business processes and requirements, translating them into functional and technical system specifications.
  • Design and implement solutions for enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS), integrations, and workflows that support business objectives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex system issues and enhancements.
  • Oversee and coordinate system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data integrity, and user experience.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot critical incidents, and ensure compliance with security and governance policies.
  • Mentor and guide junior and intermediate systems analysts, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Maintain and improve documentation, including system architecture diagrams, data flows, and user guides.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring service levels and deliverables are met.
  • Contribute to IT strategy, roadmap planning, and project prioritization in alignment with business goals.

Position Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a systems analyst or in a similar IT role, with demonstrated progression in responsibility.
  • Proven expertise in enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS, or bespoke business-critical applications).
  • Strong business process knowledge and ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), endpoint management
  • Advanced understanding of databases, data flows, and integration principles (knowledge of SQL and APIs is desirable).
  • Experience leading system projects from analysis through implementation and post-go-live support.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across teams.

 

Preferred Skills & Certifications

 

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, ITIL, PMP, vendor-specific system certifications).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and SaaS applications.
  • Experience with business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with change management and IT governance frameworks.
