This is a Part-time and Fixed Term (3 to 4 Months) Position with a compensation range of $25.00 - $28.00 per hour. 

Shift Time: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday and Saturdays as necessary. Minimum 20 hours a week and up to 25 Hours in a week.

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a temp Recruitment Coordinator to help our New York, West Babylon Division. Reporting to the HR Manager, the Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and guiding activities at every stage of the recruitment cycle/process, as well as acting as the main point of contact for all parties involved in the hiring process.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for facilitating the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • Screen candidates, and assist HR, and hiring managers with interview preparation/ Scheduling, and help in conducting interviews (phone, video and/or in-person) when appropriate.
  • Support and guide recruitment activities for roles at all levels of the organization, and ensures that the recruitment procedures are followed.
  • Organize/coordinate/communicate between all parties involved in the hiring process.
  • Track recruitment activities and monitor progress of roles, while maintaining a complete record of recruitment-related information on our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other internal databases. Not limited to excel notes etc., shared with HR Manager and necessary individuals in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and post job descriptions/advertisements in ATS as well as career websites, newspapers, university boards, etc. as appropriate.
  • Conduct reference checks on candidates of interest.
  • Address employment inquiries, ensure the highest level of quality and customer service for candidate interaction, and strengthen the company’s public image and employer brand.
  • Other misc./light HR duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management/ and or talent acquisition.
  • Certification in Human Resources (CHRP, CIPD, SHRM), completed or in progress is an asset.
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in Human Resources Some level of exposure to recruitment/sourcing is preferred Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and other Human Resources Management software’s – experience using SAP SuccessFactors specifically is considered an asset.
  • Some level of familiarity with social media platforms, professional sites and resume databases, particularly LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Good administrative, time-management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and to action multiple open positions simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (particularly business communications knowledge), as well as great customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Some knowledge of Labor and Employment Law legislation in New York.
  • Strong follow-up skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to build and manage strong relationships with both internal and external individuals.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and respect.
  • Excellent teamwork and ability to work well in a collaborative team environment; as well as ability to work well independently.
  • Ability to manage change effectively.
  • Focused on delivering a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
