Compensation Range: $22.00-$24.50
Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4 PM
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory control, material traceability, and stock availability to support uninterrupted aerospace metal surface treatment operations. This role supports warehouse, stockroom, chemical storage, and production floor activities while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record and maintain all inventory transactions accurately within the ERP/inventory system.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and traceability for stockroom, chemical, and production inventory locations.
- Monitor and maintain Kanban/Min-Max inventory levels for paint, chemicals, consumables, PPE, and production materials.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to address shortages, delayed deliveries, and material availability risks impacting production.
- Ensure all chemicals and materials are properly labeled, identified, traceable, and within expiration requirements.
- Remove and segregate expired, unlabeled, damaged, or nonconforming inventory from shop floor and storage locations.
- Rotate inventory and maintain organized stock locations in accordance with FIFO and company procedures.
- Perform cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and assist with year-end physical inventory.
- Maintain inventory records, logs, and supporting documentation accurately and timely.
- Communicate inventory shortages, discrepancies, or material concerns to Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Management teams.
- Support internal audits, Nadcap/customer audits, and corrective action activities as required.
- Maintain stockroom and storage areas in a clean, organized, and audit-ready condition.
- Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and material handling procedures.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience with computerized inventory systems in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Aerospace, chemical processing, or regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience handling traceability-controlled inventory and chemicals preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic English is required in order to perform the job efficiently.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic math is required in order to perform this job efficiently (i.e. counting, calculation of weight per piece, etc.).
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Position is located on the shop floor in a traditional stock room, will require employee to sit, stand and walk. Employee may be needed to walk on shop floor, as needed.
