The Quality Clinic Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Information flow,
  • Facilitating meetings as they pertain to quality,
  • Ensuring the Quality Clinic maintains its compliance to 6S requirements under AS9100 and the Quality Clinic Certification Standards as defined by Collins Aerospace.
  • Using real time trend analysis to help predict problems prior to major failures relating to scrap and rework.
  • Managing RCCA activities related to parts, processes and audits, providing a link to Quality Planning, and measuring the effectiveness of the RCCA.
  • Providing direct support to projects and weekly departmental meetings when required by identifying links to bigger issues and providing feedback and progress on clinic lead efforts.
  • Providing quarterly management reviews with summaries of trend analysis, themes (big picture), initiatives and the effectiveness of RCCA.
  • Assessing part and process risk using RPN methodology.
  • When required, representing Magellan Haley as customer contact support for customer specific CAB and Quality Improvement Project calls.
  • Supporting various departmental meetings as required.

 

Academic:

  • Secondary Education (Preferably related to mechanical engineering)

Professional Accreditations:

  • ASQ Certified Technician / Auditor preferred.
  • 6 Sigma Certification considered an asset.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action. 
  • Facilitation Skills.
