Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Mississauga has an exciting new opportunity for a RCAF Programs Manager. The purpose of this position is overall program management for the RCAF F404 Engine and Secondary Power System Components and J85-CAN-40 Engine Repair and Overhaul programs.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Cost Management
  • Maintain customer relations on prices, deliveries etc.
  • Delivery of operating plans & periodic reports
  • Technical support to “Operations”
  • Liaison with engineering & graphics support
  • Completion of annual sustainment plan
  • Customer liaison
  • Travel as required to support customers
  • MOB Support
  • Act as A/Director in the absence of the CF Programs Director
  • Functional/ technical skills
  • Negotiation & organizational skills

  • Program planning & cost control

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 4 yr. College / University degree or equivalent
  • Professional Engineer & equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of gas turbine engines
  • Knowledge of repair & overhaul practices & standards
  • Knowledge of military support requirements and processes
  • Business & Finance knowledge
  • Minimum 3 yrs. Work experience in a similar or like position preferably Aerospace & Repair and Overhaul
