Position Summary
Magellan Aerospace, Mississauga has a great opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist. The successful incumbent will be resposible to maintain and update policies and programs in all of the following areas: recruitment, wage and salary administration, pension administration, health and safety, employee and labour relations, pay equity and employment equity. Ideally they will introduce process documents and improvements to these administrative responsibilities to improve efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities

Maintain “HRIS” internal reporting & inter-facing with company systems

Administer benefit programs for enrollments/terminations, internal reporting & payments to benefit carrier

Administer pension plans for internal reporting, enrolment & termination, payments to carriers

Recruitment/Selection

Assist with labour relations issues & statistical reports

Assist with budget expense information & yearly budget requirement

Maintain employee service award program

Assist with employee engagement program

Facilitate all security requirements (Controlled Goods and Contract Security Programs)

Other Generalist duties as required
Position Requirements

University Degree or College Diploma in a field related to HR Management, Business, Industrial Relations and/or related experience

Professional license/certificate is an asset

5-10 years experience in the HR field

Computer skills
-
Strong planning, attention to detail and organizational skills are required
