Position Summary

 

The Quality Clinic Coordinator’s primary function is to support the daily management of nonconforming product by coordinating intake, documentation, and disposition activities within. This role works closely with Production, and Engineering, to drive timely containment, support root‑cause investigations, and ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements. The coordinator helps maintain product integrity, reduce rework, and keep quality issues moving efficiently through the process. This is an on-site, in-person position and is being hired as a replacement. The annual salary range for this role is 60,000 to 80,000 CAD. 

 

Essential Responsibilities

 

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Clinic Coordinator’s activities and responsibilities include the following.

 

Daily Quality Responsibilities

  • Prepare Technical Concession reports for submission of non-conforming parts to Customers for MRB approval
  • Report on various Quality metrics on a monthly and annual basis as required
  • Create Internal and External Rework Plans based on Customer MRB Dispositions and applicable manufacturing processes
  • Open and facilitate closure of Corrective Action Requests / Non-Conformance Reports as required
  • Manage non-conforming parts in the Quality Clinic and Quarantine room to facilitate the applicable rework, concession and/or scrap process
  • Work closely with shop floor Personnel to analyze, measure and rework parts according to drawing and Customer requirements as required
  • Support Cause Investigation and Corrective Action activities as required
  • Attend and/or Facilitate Quality Clinic meetings to ensure the defined process is being followed
  • Provide support, guidance, and mentorship to the Quality Clinic Lead and Supplier Quality Lead.
  • Attend all accountability meetings, and hold all team members accountable for any outstanding actions
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Implement appropriate processes for documenting lessons learned and sharing of best practices
  • Working with and creating processes towards streamlining Quality Clinic

 

Travel

  • 0% travel time will be required for this position

 

Position Requirements

 

  • Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Quality/Engineering or equivalent field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with General computer skills, Excel, Power Point Etc
  • Thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances
  • Able to use various inspection tools and equipment
  • Problem solver, excellent communicator, attention to detail
  • Initiative, Risk-based Thinking, strong Organization skills
  • Diligence, leadership, positive attitude
  • Critical and Innovative thinking
  • Able to work independently and as a team member

 

The physical requirements of this job are minimal. The daily routine will entail sitting at a desk, general walking to and from meetings and conducting regular floor walks on the manufacturing floor.
