Job Summary:

Magellan Aerospace, Haverhill is a world-class manufacturer of precision machined aerospace components. We have an exciting opportunity for a Shipper/Receiver. The successful incumbent will perform a wide array of functions which may include receiving and processing incoming raw material, parts from OV, etc. As well as packaging parts for shipping to customer or OV. Managing and organizing our warehouse as well as the pickup and delivery of in process and finished product to outside vendors and local customers.

Position Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks and knowledge of trucking manifest.
• Receive all packing slips into the computer and run receiving report.
• Build shipping containers when necessary.
• Clean and package all parts using appropriate packing instructions.
• Driving to local vendors for pick-ups and delivery using company vehicle.
• Maintain and order all packing and handling material for shipping.
• Distribute all receiving paper work to all appropriate departments.
• Schedule outside trucking companies for pick-ups.
• Knowledge of international shipping requirements.
• Understanding customer specification for packaging requirements
• Cycle Counting

Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Current driver’s license and minimum of 3 years driving.
• Some computer knowledge is a must.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Must pass annual DOT drivers exam, physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
• Some knowledge of computers.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication skills
• Present professional image to supplier and customers.
