ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represents Euravia North America (ENA) in a professional manner.
- Plans the schedule for each part through its assigned operations.
- Ensures that parts flow through the plant expeditiously, in accordance with their schedule.
- Ensures that shop personnel follow routing instructions.
- Ensures that parts ship on schedule.
- Reschedules any parts that deviate.
- Notifies Quality Review Board of deviations.
- Sits as member of the Quality Review Board.
- Expedites deviations within the shop.
- Coordinates the flow of parts with the Operations Manager and Supervisors.
- Keeps the Operations Manager, Customer Relations Manager and General Manager fully informed when a part falls behind its assigned schedule.
- Reports any personnel, process or equipment problems to the Operations Manager.
- Notifies Operations Manager when major incidents of poor quality are noted and documents it.
- Directs the shipping and receiving activities of the Company.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Five to Ten years of aviation manufacturing/repair experience, a majority being supervisory experience.
- Must be computer literate and posses a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to communicate with others orally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical publications such as, but not limited to, Overhaul, Maintenance, Inspection and Repair Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives.
- Working knowledge of Shop operations, procedures and routings.
- A High School Diploma is required.
- Mechanical aptitude.
