SUMMARY: Prepares parts made of aircraft alloys of nickel, cobalt and magnesium-based alloys for weld, braze and other aerospace procedures, deburrs parts after machining, blends welds, removes excess braze alloys, restores gas turbine airfoils to print contours,
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represents ENA in a professional manner.
- Follows policies and procedures established by ENA, ENA Repair Station Manual, ENA Quality Control Manual, FAR’s, Special Process Supervisor, Chief Inspector and Chief of Engineering.
- Prepares parts made of aircraft alloys of nickel, cobalt and magnesium-based alloys for weld, braze and other aerospace procedures.
- Deburrs, blasts parts after machining.
- Blends welds and removes excess braze alloys.
- Restores gas turbine airfoils and contours.
- If authorized removes and applies coatings IAW approved ENA procedures.
- Carries out all operations IAW ENA job instructions and any approved documentation provided; ensuring all previous operations have been completed, signed or stamped off before commencement.
- Ensures completed work is stamped off or signed as instructed.
- Uses measuring, contour and gauging tools, ensures tools used are calibrated (if required) and in good working order.
- Understands work instructions written and verbal, will ask superiors for guidance if there is any uncertainty or ambiguity.
- Ability to relate to others in a courteous manner.
- Ability to learn and adapt to varied work assignments.
- Possesses the practical and technical knowledge required to perform responsibilities.
- Ability to demonstrate proper judgment and decision-making skills when necessary.
- Ability to perform work with little or no supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A High School Diploma (or equivalent) is desired.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Previous blending/deburring experience is desired.
- Good vision and attention to detail.
