SUMMARY: Prepares parts for repair.  Removes sulfidation, oxides of oxygen and other contaminants from aircraft parts.  Applies high temperature aerospace coatings to aircraft parts and diffuses parts in inert atmosphere. Applies aerospace coatings to aircraft parts in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Represents Euravia North America (ENA) in a professional manner. 

• Follows policies and procedures established by Euravia North America, FAA, OEM directives, Chief Inspector, and Chief Engineer.

• Prepares parts for repair in accordance with work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Removes sulfidation, oxides of oxygen and other contaminants from aircraft parts in accordance work instructions and MATS Operating Procedures.
• Follows work instructions carefully.
• Applies high temperature aerospace coatings to aircraft parts and diffuses parts in inert atmosphere.
• Prepares parts for paint and applies paint in a professional manner.
• Tracks inventories of details and parts brought to the Department.
• Maintains and keeps appropriate documentation on all parts for tracking purposes.

• Understands blueprints, company manuals, written and verbal instructions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A High School Diploma (or equivalent) is desired.
• Experience in the operation and maintenance of shop equipment desirable.

• Ability to read and interpret technical publications such as, but not limited to, Overhaul, Maintenance, Inspection and Repair Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives.
• Working knowledge of dimensioning and aptitude for using precise close tolerance measuring equipment.
