The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 annually.

 

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Control Coordinator to support our operations and production team within a precision-driven aerospace manufacturing environment. This entry-level role is focused on providing administrative and scheduling support, ensuring production activities run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with industry quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Scheduling Support:

Assist in preparing and maintaining daily and weekly shop floor schedules, ensuring alignment with production plans and delivery deadlines

Track and update work order progress across departments (machining, assembly, inspection)

Communicate changes to schedules or priorities to production leads, supervisors, and relevant departments

Help monitor resource availability (materials, tools, machines, labor) to avoid production delays

Coordinate with planning and engineering teams to ensure correct documentation and drawings are available at workstations

Support the issuance and control of production travelers, route cards, and job packs

 

Operational & Administrative Tasks:

Input and maintain accurate data in ERP or MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor)

Assist with inventory tracking and reporting material shortages or discrepancies

Support the documentation and filing of AS9100-compliant production records

Liaise with quality assurance and inspection teams to track non-conformance reports (NCRs) and rework status

Assist in preparing reports for production performance, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery

Maintain organized logs and documentation to support audits and traceability

 

Requirements:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Business, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred

Some experience (including internships or apprenticeships) in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably aerospace

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle technical documentation

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems preferred

Good communication and coordination skills across teams

Basic understanding of manufacturing workflows (e.g., CNC, assembly, inspection)

Willingness to work in a structured, fast-paced environment with strict compliance standards

 

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)

Familiarity with engineering drawings, parts lists, and work instructions

Understanding of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices

Ability to interpret basic Gantt charts or production schedules

 

Working conditions:

On‑site work required; frequent interactions with shop floor, production supervisors, operators.

May require shift work or coordination across multiple shifts.

Must maintain strict adherence to documentation, traceability, and quality processes.

Some time may be spent in noisy, industrial environment; PPE compliance and safety rules apply.

Must live within a commutable distance from Corona NY.
