The salary range for this position is $18.00 to $23.00 per hour.

 

Position Summary:

 

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Quality Engineering Intern to join our manufacturing aerospace team for the summer and continue full time. This internship presents an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Quality and inspection processes for aerospace components.
  • Support the production team in machining, assembly, and testing of aerospace components.
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
  • Participate in problem-solving activities to address production challenges and improve overall Quality and productivity.
  • Contribute to the documentation and review of manufacturing procedures and quality standards.
  • Assist in conducting tests and inspections to ensure compliance with aerospace industry regulations and standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • Currently enrolled in an associate, bachelor's degree program in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong academic background with a focus on manufacturing, materials, or aerospace systems.
